This is taking forever!

As I said in my last post, I would call my doctor’s office if I hadn’t heard of an appointment date by Monday. Monday came and went with no word from them so I called and reminded them that I needed to be scheduled. FINALLY I got a phone call from the specialist on Friday (7/18). Apparently they need all of my medical records from my cleft surgeries (??) before they can schedule an appointment. I have no idea why they would find those useful but whatever. So they emailed me a consent form to sign and I sent it back to them so that they can send it to the hospital that did all of my surgeries. Whenever they get all of my records they will call me back and make an appointment. She said sometime by the end of August or beginning of September. I am hoping to be pregnant by then so this appointment won’t do us much good for the TTC process but maybe they will have some insight on what we could do for the remainder of that pregnancy and any subsequent ones. She told me that hopefully this week sometime she can call me back and get me an appointment. I thought about trying to get in to an RE that same day and save a trip. I think that they will be helpful too (and maybe put me on lovenox). I guess it just depends on what is going on. Their office sees patients on Mondays and Wednesdays so that much I know to plan ahead and I’ve told my boss so that she can expect me to ask for a day off. My period started on the 16th pretty late in the evening. The baby aspirin has been making them heavy these past couple times. Its kind of miserable so I am looking forward to not having one for a few months ^.^ I just hope that we can get pregnant just as easily this time. I just have to remind myself that I am not in control! TTYL!
